ICU Privacy Statement

This is the privacy statement and cookie policy of ICU IT Services B.V. (ICU). ICU are responsible for the processing of personal data that is collected when visiting our website and and Recruitee, our online staff recruitment system. This privacy statement does not apply to data obtained in any other way.
We respect your privacy and we will ensure, with all reasonable efforts, that the personal information you provide is treated confidentially. If the law, jurisdiction, our policy or our business activities demand so, we will adjust this statement accordingly without prior notice. The latest version of this statement will be posted on our website.

ICU makes a distinction between data provided actively of passively. Passive data is data you provide to administrators of websites without your awareness. For example, when visiting our website, we register some technical data, such as your IP address, operating system and the internet browser you use to surf and, in some cases, the last internet page you visited. This general visitor data can be recorded and used for statistical analysis of visitor and click behaviours on our websites. As a result, and amongst other things, we can improve the content of our website and services. ICU will use all reasonable efforts to make this data anonymous. We will not provide this passively obtained data to third parties.

In addition, ICU collect and process data that you provide actively, such as your name and email address. For example, when you complete a contact form, sign up for our newsletter or respond to a vacancy. The provision of these personal data is completely voluntary and serves to provide you with the service that you request. We do not collect any data other than the data you have voluntary provided.
The personal data is processed by us to enter into and implement agreements with regard to our services and to manage the ensuing relationships, including activities aimed at expanding and maintaining our relationship database in Recruitee and Mailchimp. This data will be kept for as long as needed to provide a full response or resolution.
Our Mailchimp system registers your first and last name as well as your e-mail address. Your interaction with our newsletters provides us insight into the usefulness of what we send. Mailchimp is EU-US Privacy Shield certified. The personal data you shared with us at the time of registering will be stored outside the EU.

ICU use Recruitee as a solution that enables you to apply to a vacancy on our website. Read the Privacy Statement specific to Recruitee for more information about this solution and how your personal data is protected. Take into account that Recruitee is GDPR compliant.
To process and respond to your application we need personal information. Some of the data we require is mandatory, to allow us to build a relationship of supply and demand. During the recruitment process we build a file in Recruitee, where your personal data is processed centrally. If your recruitment process is successful your data will be provided to (potential) clients. This will happen in mutual agreement and will be limited to what is necessary for the purpose of the placement or assignment. In this situation, each client in turn is held to respect your privacy.

If you have a recruitment relationship with ICU, upon written request, you have the option to access, modify and/or delete your personal data. In addition, you can let us know in writing if you no longer want to be contacted by ICU, or if want your file to be deleted.
